TRANSPORTATION AIDE
PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB POSITION:
The primary purpose of your job position is to transport the facility’s residents to medical appointments or other appointments as scheduled by the facility in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with our facility’s policies and procedures.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Listed below is an outline of the major duties and responsibilities that you will be required to perform. As the Transportation Aide, you are responsible and accountable to carry out your designated duties.
Although your job description is broad, every effort has been made to make this outline as complete as possible. However, we must emphasize that you may be required to perform other related duties and activities as directed by the Administrative/designee.
- Ensure safe and timely transport of residents to various locations in the community and surrounding areas through use of appropriate equipment and established standards of practice.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Sitting, standing, bending, and moving frequently during working hours.
